Your First Visit - What to expect
At Mills Orthodontics, we believe your first orthodontic visit is the most important one! The first visit to a new office can seem intimidating at first, especially for small children. However, your first visit at Mills Orthodontics will be completely painless! Here’s what you can expect:
You’ll be greeted by our wonderful team, given a tour of the office, and be introduced to Dr. Macie Mills. Our highly-trained treatment coordinator will you through every step of this visit. She will take some digital photos of your teeth and orthodontic specific, low-radiation X-rays if needed. These images are necessary to visualize your teeth, jaws, and facial soft tissue.
After reviewing the records, Dr. Mills will join you in the private consultation room to discuss your individualized treatment plan. Dr. Mills will take time to listen to your individual concerns and explain the treatment that will best suit your needs and provide the healthiest smile possible. Dr. Mills will take as much time as necessary to explain all treatment recommendations and answer any of your orthodontic questions. Our treatment coordinator will walk you through the entire braces process-- explaining everything from scheduling visits, to what to expect, to finances and payment options. Our goal for this visit is to make sure no questions go unanswered.
