Your smile journey begins with a friendly, comprehensive consultation at Mills Orthodontics. During this visit, Dr. Macie Mills, our board-certified orthodontist, will carefully evaluate your smile and discuss what you’d like to achieve. Our goal is to make sure you feel informed, comfortable, and excited about your treatment options.

What to Expect at Your Consultation

Your visit will include:

• A digital 3D scan using our iTero® Intraoral Scanner
• Photos and diagnostic imaging (if needed)
• A conversation about your goals, lifestyle, and smile preferences

Your Child’s Orthodontic Consultation

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children receive their first orthodontic evaluation around age 7. This allows us to spot early signs of crowding, bite development concerns, or jaw growth patterns that may benefit from guidance as your child grows.

We offer this early orthodontic consultation at no cost.

During your child’s visit, we’ll use the iTero® digital scanner to create a comfortable, radiation-free 3D model of their teeth. From there, Dr. Mills will review whether:

• No treatment is needed yet (most common!)
• Monitoring as they grow is best
• Early (Phase I) treatment could support ideal development
